AHPA MEETING MINUTES -

The March meeting of the Aloha Hawaiian Parrot Club was held at Heeia State park in Kaneohe. Flo (Club President) upated members on the progress of "Parrot Watch" and a vote was taken among members to decide if "Parrot Watch" could branch out of the club and create a seperate entity, no longer affiliated with the Aloha Hawaiian Parrot Association. The vote was proposed by Elizabeth Neil and seconded by Karen Tyson, and passed with unanamious support of the members.
 
Discussion surrounding several birds in need of homes due to owners death and "found" birds that members are fostering. A potluck and presentation followed on "Captive Foraging". Members were reminded of the upcoming Zoo outing on April 13th and the Pet Expo in May.
