AHPA MEETING MINUTES
December 10th, 2006 By Makena
The meeting opened with announcement about a galah parrot that was found in the Makakilo area. If anyone knows someone who lost a galah in that area, please contact Elizabeth. Then the games began. Questions ranging from the AHPA Website information, avian bladders, lungs, and gizzards were asked and foot toys were given to the members who answered the questions correctly. The members with the most foot toys at the end of the games got to choose prizes from a table of parrot toys and gifts. The January 14th 2007 speaker will be Dr. Brian Walsh of the Feather and Fur Clinic. He will discuss emergency and disaster care for parrots. See ya next year!
Respectfully submitted,
Makena
