Happy new year!
We are anticipating a new year filled with fun & educational activities, such as bird shows, guest speakers, fundraisers, and bbq’s for the club! We are planning 2 fundraisers for the upcoming year, smoked marlin & banana bread. Here is our tentative schedule for the upcoming year:
February 2002
Our guest speaker will be a bird breeder from Australia
We will distribute smoked marlin tickets @ $8. A ticket
March 2002
Butch will handfeed new babies
We will distribute smoked marlin
April 2002
Guest speaker Mark Caspers, DVM, from feather & fur clinic
Barbeque
May 2002
The Pet Expo at the Blaisdell center
June 2002
Bird show, center stage at the Ala Moana Shopping Center &
a picnic afterwards at the Ala Moana Park
We will distribute banana bread tickets
July 2002
Pat will show us how to make bird toys
We will distribute banana bread
